Yum Tuna (Thai Tuna Salad)
Yum Tuna (Thai Tuna Salad) is a simple Thai salad to make at home. It is quick to make, healthy and contains all traditional Thai flavors. The great thing about Thai food is that it is often all about tasty sauces and dressings that can be paired with vegetables and protein that do not taste so good, but that are healthy! Tuna in brine, healthy but not as tasty as tuna in oil. Iceberg lettuce, 80% water. Celery, … tastes like celery. If you had served me only these ingredients, I might have thought, “Oh, here’s someone who really suffers to get in shape.” If someone had served me Yum Tuna instead, I would not have been able to think as my tongue would have been engulfed in an ancient tantric ritual to call down “The Rock”, the god of Gains and Health, to take over my earthly body.
